How are you going to prepare for the Exit Exam? What do you need to work on?

I have improved little by little on how to write an essay. Now I know how to write a thesis and organize better when writing an essay. I am going to prepare myself by working more on writing complete sentences, because I keep writing fragments and I need to be more specific. On when I am writing an essay I need to work on my mistakes, like spelling, be clear on what I am writing about, and punctuation marks.

are cell phones dangerous?

Cell phones can be dangerous during the activies people do every day, if they get distracted while driving operating a machinery. Only at some certain jobs they prohibit you to use a cellphone. Even while walking someone can fall if someone is texting, when they are not paying attetion to their surroundings, or you can cause an accident to yourself or others. Since people depend on cellphones now to keep in contact with other people it is hard to remember a number since you just store it in a phone. Although they have technology to do everything now, its just easy to carry around .

What is your writing process?

I really don't plan on how I write. Im not a great writer. I just try to organize the best I can do. Roughdrafts im not use to doing those only when I really need to or have time.The days that I started doing the blog post questons and the essay that was a great practice for me on writing. I still need to work on organizing but with dedication and time ima be a better writer as I do mistakes and learn from them writing.

Why I decide to come to MVC?

At first I wanted to go to El Centro College since some of my friends went there but I started thinking that I would waste money on gas or that I would have to wake up early thats why I decided to go to Mountain View College since I live close by Duncanville and I dont have to drive far to get my education . I really think that Mountain Viewcan help me on what I want to study.

Why are you in college?


 Well since i graduated from high school six years ago, i started working to get money to help out with bills and stuff for the house. time past by and my parents use to tell me every time to go back to school to study and do something with my life since i was just working and going out to party but at my teenager years i thought that i knew everything and was stubborn and i use to think why go back to school if I'm working and getting money.

  I was just hurting myself by not going to college to continue my education. As time passed by i was just wasting time but i use to think that i was going to hurt my parents and myself by going to college investing money but i started talking to my friends and well some of them were bad influence on me on not knowing what to do in my life having a doubt but as i started getting matured i started seeing that i was not going to go anywhere just without going to college and well i want my niece and nephew to look up to me and as i want to have my own business i want to be in business management to learn and get better as a responsible person and well i want to show my family  and myself that i can accomplish my goals also as a challenge, my parents want to have their own business as do i and in college there is a chance to meet new people that have the same goals as i do .

  By missing six years of school and missing out on my education this year i decided that it was time for me to go back to school and get a career and accomplish my goals since i want to have a better life and show my family that i can do it since i was the one not listening to them . but it will take time so i can get use to being in school as I'm older now and i can make good decisions.
